Special Educational Needs

Special Educational Needs

In school your SENDCo is Natalie Grimster.

Please contact the school to arrange an appointment or email on natalie.grimster@bwccf.cheshire.sch.uk for any questions or worries you may have.

Every child is important and we aim to ensure that their needs and barriers are supported in all ways with the right provision and nurturing support.

We also have drop in dates available each term to speak with the SENDCo or Learning Mentor on.

Look out for our upcoming drop ins!

Where to find help?

What is the Local Offer?

The Local Offer will set out, in one place, information about provision and support that the Local Authority expects to be in place for children and young people aged 0-25 with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). We have produced a leaflet to explain the Local Offer to individuals working in schools or other education settings

SEND Reforms

The Local Offer is one component of the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) reforms arising from the Children and Families Act 2014. The Special Educational Needs and Disability page has more about the implementation of the SEND reforms in Cheshire East, including the implementation of the Local Offer.
