Maths Focus

This term we will be introducing composition of numbers to 10, counting past 20, doubles and odds and evens. 

Reading - Children will carry on their phonics sessions. Children will be reading CVC words and words with special friends in. 

Writing Focus - Children will be listening to familiar and unfamiliar stories.  Children carry on writing with CVC words and starting to write short sentences supported.

Topics for this term, Animals and their habitats - learning about different habitats and countries. Growing! All the things that grow... from life cycles to the development of flowers. 

PE On Thursday afternoon we will be taking part in PE sessions. Please make sure that children have their PE kits on as they come into school.

Computing - Using ipads and programmable toys.

RE - We will be learning about the importance of stories from the bible and after February half term the Easter story.
